Family owned and operated since 1984, A & L Wine Castle is Michigan's premier Party Store (Voted Michigan's Best). Our knowledgeable staff offers recommendations based on your tastes and price range. We also allow you to expand your horizons and satisfy your curiosity by holding several tasting events throughout the year.

These guys have never steered me wrong. It's nice to be able to walk in, ask what's worth trying and get a good solid recommendation. Hooked me up with a couple free shakers last time I was in.

A & L Wine Castle is the one-stop shop that caters to all of my self indulgent needs. Smokes, booze and fatty foods never cease to amuse the sensational ascetic that is thy human nature. The friendly staff alone is the reason why I delight in such an ineffable convienent store experience. Kudos!

A&L is one of the many little pleasures of Ann Arbor, close to the acitve West side with easy parking, great advice and a spectacular selection. You can purchase 2500.00 scotch or 6.00 bottle of wine either purchase will garner you Mahers exquisite taste and his fullest attention. Every purchase is an adventure and he is a great guide, travel soon to the A&L zone!

I have yet to find a place that even comes close to the A&L Wine Castle. Friendly, extemely knowledgeable, and helpful; and if they don't have it, they will get it for you! But they probably have it as their selection is outstanding!! I've received big thanks from many friends for introducing them to this store. We're so lucky to have them right in our town! You won't be disappointed!!

Best selection of Scotch outside of Wash DC or NY. Knowledgable staff who are great to talk with and deal with. And their annual scotch tasting has broadened my horizons considerably. The best in Detroit and I assume Michigan.
