"Finally, something not for everyone!" ™ 4:59 barberlounge is a salon/spa catering specifically to today's men that have outgrown or outlived their barbershop around the corner and cringe just a little every time they say the words “day spa." We look to preserve the traditional male grooming experience, but with updated hair styling and full-service grooming that includes: certified medical and therapeutic massage, skincare and hand & foot grooming. Many of our competitors focus only on haircutting, but we have a more in-depth, whole body maintenance approach. Looking, feeling and performing your best... that's what 4:59 is all about.

What a great establishment. If I had a little bit more hair, I would definitely get my hair cut there every week. Kim, Claire, and Mike all provide a great service and are incredibly delightful to deal with. Great job Bernie...keep up the good work!

I'm a guy that gets quite a bit of massage. Very active and stressed out from work, etc. The therapists at 459 are some of the best around... very competent and caring. None of that fluff massage stuff from the gals of 459! Highly recommended.

Indy's only true spa for men... this isn't your old-school, corner barbershop experience. Lara is great. A real artist with the straight-razor shave. I've also had facials, manicures and pedicures there in the past. All the services they offer leave you feeling refreshed and renewed. Thanks Bernie & Jenny for bringing your vision to Indianapolis!

This place is darn near heaven. Can't get enough! I've been to the salons and spas and corner barbershops. This place is the definitive hybrid of all things males and modern. Very well executed.

It seems like I'm getting my hair cut a lot more since I started going to 4:59. It's like being part of a club without paying the dues. You just have to pay Mike. Thanks for the great place, guys! B to B

such a great experience every time. not the oridinary "barber shop", but a "barber lounge". several spa services to offer todays male. when calling to schedule, ask for kim.

This place the the best around, I actually enjoy getting a haricut. The staff is top notch, the facility is great and they provide exceptional service EVERY TIME!!! I recommend them to everyone and everyone i recommend thanks me for it. 4:59 deserves to win.....

I have been a client for quite some time now. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. Ii wouldn't dare go to another barber shop. Flat screen tv's AND a cigar bar a few doors down....How could it possibly get any better??!!!

Not impressed and service was poor. Seemed like I was intruding on their time and probably one of the worst haircuts I have had in a long time. First and last time I go there.

I bought a gift card for Father's Day and my Dad is hooked. Absolutely, hands-down the best gift I've ever been able to give him. The good folks there really make him feel important! A++++

Absolutely the best overall experience you can have in the industy! I actually look forward to my appointment every few weeks and cannot stop telling my friends about it! As my friends would say, "It's the best darn bar that cuts hair in Indy!"

I found 4:59 a couple of years ago and love the place. If I have to wait for my appointment there is a ton of reading material aimed at the male audience, TVs to watch while waiting and getting my hair cut, and liquid refreshments. Claire (my stylist) does a great job for someone so young, and little things like hair rinsing AFTER the cut is finished to prevent the annoying itchy feeling the rest of the day. Excellent establishment.

4:59 is a great place to get away and relax. Mike always greets you with a warm hello and cold beer. Professional, clean, great service, attractive women...perfect. Claire-you're my girl!

Nice joint...they take appt's, give great cuts, shine shoes, take your coat at the door, flatscreen tv's, quick service, hot towels, and extremely poliet and professional service. Talk to Mike in the wrinkled shirt, he'll take care of you.

Absolutely the best damn barber lounge in the city, probably the state and possibly the world!! You cannot beat this place for atmosphere, service and quality. Plus Mike will serve you beer and/or wine while you experience the tonsorial skills of the very attractive and totally skilled stylists!! Try it and you wont go back to your old barber shop, I guarantee!!!

I went to 4:59 barberlounge last week and it was a great experience. My stylist was named Jaime and she was the best that I have found in the Indianapolis area. She was completely professional and friendly and did a great job on my "cut." I would highly recommended this place to those men who love to pamper themselves. Oh. . . and don't forget to ask for Jaime!
